July 6th - July 26th

Five sad events in Jewish history occurred on the ninth day of the month of Av. These include the destruction of the First and the Second Temple. The anniversary is marked by a day of mourning, prayer, fasting and abstinence from certain activities.

The "Three Weeks" between the fast days of 17th of Tammuz (June 27, 2021) and Tisha B'Av (July 18, 2021) have historically been days of misfortune and calamity for the Jewish people, in which God is so to speak more distant from His people.
